Such a beautiful day to launch the Bay Tourism Morecambe Bay Visitor Guide 2026 at The Midland . So good to hear from tourism partners about exciting new developments for Morecambe Bay tourism .Look out for copies of our visitor guide around the district . A 25th anniversary for Bay Tourism Association and Eden Project!
The speakers were Mark Prada from Bay Tourism Association, Roger Carter formerly of Bay Tourism Association John Pye from Eden Project Morecambe, David Waddington from Morecambe BID, Vikki Harris from Marketing Lancashire, Councillor Martin Bottoms, John Davis from Armed Forces Day and Stuart Michaels from Morecambe Music Festival.

Here we are at the magnificent Leighton Hall with the Bay Tourism exhibition trailer, promoting the many fantastic reasons why people should visit Morecambe and the whole of the Bay Area. Our beautiful exhibition trailer features an array of stunning images, inside and outside and we would like to thank both Lancaster City Council and Lancaster & Morecambe College for funding the design and production of this artwork. Bay Tourism is made up of unpaid volunteers, who all have a love, interest and a passion for this beautiful part of the world and give up their time to help our local visitor economy.

We were proud to support Lancaster & Morecambe District Armed Forces Day on June 20th with our eye-catching Bay Tourism exhibition trailer, promoting the many fantastic reasons why people should visit Morecambe and the whole of the Bay Area. The promenade was packed and Morecambe sashayed in the Summer sunshine. We had lots of visitor to the trailer including veterans, locals and tourists plus Winston Churchill and Winnie, a stormtrooper and Captain America !.
