As part of Morecambe Carnival, The Platform presents: ‘A Model Railway Exhibition’ a Storth Model Railway Club Event. Model enthusiasts can marvel at the featured and guest layouts with plenty of nostalgia from the Hornby clockwork system in 0 gauge featuring trains that would have carried visitors to the Midland Hotel.
There will be 00 scale layouts with classic steam heritage, modern engines and rolling stock on display plus G scale layouts with new added features.
£2 entry on the door. Under 5s Free.

Join us for this friendly led walk every Tuesday and experiencce the physical and social benefits of walking with a group.
The walks are designed to go at an easy pace, provide gentle exercise in a friendly group and help your mobility. At the end of the walk there is an opportuity to visit the cafe and enjoy tea or coffee and a chat!
All our walks are FREE and are welcome to all!

Come and join us for this friendly led walk every Wednesday and experience the physical and social benefits of walking with a group.
We begin at 11.00am and go for a walk around the running track at Salt Ayre Sports Centre. This walk lasts around an hour.
The walk is designed to go at an easy pace and provide a comfortable atmosphere for your exercise and to help your mobility. It is perfect for anyone who wants to keep healthy or just fit some gentle exercise into their day.
To join the FREE walk, please meet at Salt Ayre Sports Centre every Wednesday.
