       CURRENT EXHIBITION: SUMMER DAYS

24TH MAY 2018 until SEPTEMBER

This exhibition celebrates Summer in all its glory – the flowers, the woodlands, the sea.

We have a new collection of marvellous embroideries made by Carole Dawber. These colourful depictions of Meadows and Woodlands are strewn with delicate flowers.

We are also pleased to be showing for the first time the flower paintings of Rachel Kellett. Using a rnage of mixed media she depicts our native flora with an original touch.

Local artist Fay Collins  depicts our landscape in a beautifully delicate and detailed way invoking a sense of tranquillity. We have a number of her original paintings on show in this exhibition.

In addition we are excited to introduce you to a new glass maker – Matt Adkins – his methods of fusing and sculpting glass result in amazing pictures of almost 3D like curling and crashing waves.

And we are highlighting our summer themed jewellery by Fi Mehra. If you like boats, beach  huts, starfish and shells, we have pieces you will love – pendants and earrings.
