Lancaster City Council’s Play Rangers are organising this year’s event which includes inflatables, den building, face painting, arts and crafts, water slides, fire building and cooking, bouncy castle, assualt course and loads more!

The event is absolutely free and there’s no need to book, so just turn up and join in the fun.

The event is part of Play Day, the national day for play, traditionally held on the first Wednesday in August. Play day 2011 is on Wednesday 3 August, but in Lancaster we are celebrating early.
