Guided walk with Lancashire Wildlife Trust round
their Salthill Quarry Nature Reserve. The walk is set
in mid July to take in one of the sites specialities – the
lovely purple flowering betony which should be at its best.
It produces a real show on the limestone rich meadow.
Good paths all round the reserve. Suitable for children
nine years and over accompanied by an adult.
