The Whimbrel, a small relative of the curlew, uses Barnacre Reservoir as an important staging post on its journey from Africa to Iceland. Come and watch the spectacular sight as these beautiful birds fly into roost at dusk. Bring a hot drink. Suitable for children 14 yrs and over accompanied by an adult. Booking essential.
