Waddow Lodge Garden Afternoon

Inspirational 2-acre garden created around a Georgian house with views to Pendle and Bowland. Environmentally friendly principles used with composting, recycling and cultivation. A plant enthusiast’s collection developed over many years and now planted in co-ordinated Island Beds of perennials and shrubs, Rose Borders, Woodland Copse and Shade Gardens, Rhododendrons, Heritage Apple Orchard and soft fruit, Vegetable Garden and Glasshouses, Alpine Beds and Alpine House, colourful containers, plus new Jubilee Plantation with wildlife pond and 60 trees planted in the adjacent meadow. Proceeds from entrance fee to Bowland Tourism Environment Fund. Children Free. Garden owner Peter Foley, will offer guided tours during the afternoon.
