The PCO presents another of its historic programmes of charming music from the Palm Court often found at seaside and spa towns in the 19th and 20th century, where old favourites rubbed shoulders with new compositions of the day. Featuring, a rare clarinet piece by Lancashire composer and doyen of light music, Ernest Tomlinson, now 90 years old. Plus a xylophone solo from 1903 and a Victorian piccolo solo, played by PCO members.
