Make a unique chair for your home or garden. Using coppiced
hazel you will select wood for the back legs, the front legs, the
back rails and slats for the seat. You will cut them to length and
turn tenons on the rails using a shave horse and draw knife, drill
the mortices in the legs and assemble the chairs. The wood can
be left with the bark on, or removed. Packed lunch needed each
day. Why not make a weekend of it and book to camp?
(At additional cost.) Suitable for children 16 years and over if
accompanied by an adult.
Booking essential. Please contact the Visit Garstang Centre on
garstangtic@wyre.gov.uk or 01995 602125.
