Have you ever been lucky enough to witness the awe
inspiring sky dance of a hen harrier? Join us for a walk
along one of the Forest of Bowland’s most stunning valleys
and you may well be rewarded with a glimpse of this rare
and enigmatic species. There’s also fun to be had looking
out for the elusive ring ouzel, or our smallest bird of prey
the merlin or possibly the Forest of Bowland’s most
fearsome predator – the green tiger beetle! Bring a
packed lunch and your binoculars if you have some.
Suitable for children 10 years and older accompanied by
an adult. These walks have been made possible with
