Geocaching Introduction Day

- February 24th, 2020

August 23, 2013 @ 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. Go somewhere, do something. That is the basic idea behind Geocaching Challenges. You might be challenged to hike over fields and hills and then solve a riddle. The day will take you through the use of handheld GPS devices through to the walking to and locating of the “geocache”. Bring a packed lunch. Suitable for 18 yrs and over. Booking essential. Please contact 01254 704898 or email £50, 6.5 hours. Terrain guide 5.
