Foxfire follows a group of teen girls who grow up amidst the violence and frustration of 1950’s upstate New York. They band together to form the all-female Foxfire gang and declare war on their male oppressors. For his first film since the 2008 Oscar nominated The Class, Laurent Cantet brings the same eye for detail and ability to get strong performances from young actors that made that film such a success.
