Takemitsu’s Seasons explores our changing ecology through a delicate metallic landscape, whilst Psappha explodes with muscular and abrasive rhythm taken from ancient Greek text. Feldman’s great anti-percussion composition twinkles like stars in the night and we hear a world premiere by ‘brilliant musical scientist’
