Clitheroe Ramblers celebrate their 50th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion the group have developed a long distance walk, so why not put your best foot forward and join them this month to complete the 50km route over three days?
From Clitheroe, through Whitewell, Newton and Sawley, on to Downham and a climb to the top of Pendle Hill, the walk takes in a wide sweep of beautiful Bowland. Outdoor clothing and footwear will be needed and don’t forget to bring a packed lunch.
If you can’t make the guided dates, route cards will be available for those wishing to complete the walk at other times. Available from Whalley Warm & Dry and Clitheroe Tourist Information Centre from Easter.
