- March 18th, 2020

May 28, 2020 @ 10:00 am – 2:30 pm

POSTPONED – new date tbc. Please register interest via booking details below.

Bumblebees are declining in our countryside, but one important way to help with their conservation is learning how to identify the different species and record what you see for the national records. In this workshop you can learn about their lifecycle, why they are important and how to identify our seven more common species. A morning indoor session is followed by an afternoon in the wildflower meadows to practice your new skills. We finish the day with a session on recording your sightings and the Bowland “Beewalks”. Refreshments included but bring a packed lunch.

Booking essential. Please contact the Forest of Bowland AONB office on 01200 448000 or email carol.edmondson@lancashire.gov.uk
