Bookbinding Workshop

In this workshop you will learn basic skills for bookbinding. Learning through the experience of making a leperello (concertina book) preferred by Matisse as a vehicle for lining sketches/ information together. This workshop could be used as an opportunity to continue on to a print workshop where participants could use this format to build a print journey or a narrative for their prints: making a book which illustrated a walk in Bowland using gathered images which could be sketches, prints, photos, drawn maps or a combination of all of the above.
