An Introduction to Rewilding and Futurscapes (ONLINE EVENT)

- August 10th, 2020

September 23, 2020 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Rewilding is one of the most powerful and exciting ideas to emerge in conservation in recent decades. As a way to address and counter the declines in ecological quality and species loss, this offers a positive vision of a way forwards. What is rewilding? Where can it happen? And how can you be involved?

For success, this cannot be an exclusive approach but needs to be something that engages the whole of society and wins over hearts and minds to counter environmental decline whilst there is still time.

This presentation by Professor Ian Rotherham introduces the concepts, approaches, and indeed, the potential pitfalls, but above all, the opportunities.

This event will be hosted as a live Zoom session.

Cost: Free – but donations to Champion Bowland (via a link on booking) are welcomed.
