A Walk to Domesday’s “Bodeton”

Participants will meet at the Spread Eagle in Sawley for a bacon sandwich and tea/coffee and will then depart for Bolton-by-Bowland, recorded as Bodeton in the Domesday Book of 1087. Commentary en route by local walk leaders. Refreshment stop (please bring cash for tea/coffee etc or bring your own food). Walkers return to the Spread Eagle for High Tea (included). Suitable for children aged 15 yrs and over accompanied by an adult. Well behaved dogs on leads. Booking essential.
